Private Coaching for Romance Novel Writers

Ready for Higher Sales & Better Reviews?

Several Romance novelists, who were privately mentored by Adrienne deWolfe, reached #1 on Amazon. Are you ready to jumpstart your own career?

Six of Adrienne’s Romance novels have become #1 bestsellers, while winning multiple awards from reviewers and readers. More importantly, Adrienne knows how to teach the business of writing commercial Romance — an art form which is significantly different than writing other types of fiction.

Critique groups stalling your career?

If you’re tired of critique groups that mean well, but whose advice has stalled your career, Adrienne can help. In addition to delivering writing workshops at five national conventions of Romance Writers of America, Adrienne has taught fiction writing courses at a Texas college in Austin.  She has won 48 writing awards, including the Best Historical Romance of the Year.

Adrienne developed her Mentorship Program to help you, the aspiring Romance novelist, when you are:

~ Tired of contradictory story critiques that leave you confused about how to write a Romance novel that sells.

~ Ready to roll up your sleeves, finish writing your Romance novel, and market your fiction proposal to literary agents and book editors.

~ Looking for advice about how to become a published Romance author, how to win concessions from book editors, how to market your published novel, how to determine when to write a cross-over novel, and how to plan a successful career writing Romance novels.

Learn How to Write Romance that Sells

For more than a decade, Adrienne deWolfe has been a book writing coach for Romance novels.  For three years, she taught the 8-week course, How to Write Novels that Sell (and its popular 8-week spin-off,  Novel Writing Blitz) at a college in her hometown.  Adrienne was approached to create the curriculum for these two courses because students at that college had grown frustrated with creative writing classes that weren’t adequately preparing Romance authors to sell a full-length book manuscript to a New York publisher.

Adrienne’s Approach as a Writing Coach

As a writing coach for aspiring Romance authors, Adrienne maintains a positive, eye-on-the-goal focus. She has successfully mentored Romance writers through all manner of personal and professional challenges, including the balance of home life and career demands, creative writing blocks, money shortfalls, editorial rejection, the cancellation of a fiction line, and career stagnation. Adrienne creates a supportive environment so writers can:

    • Develop Romance novel ideas
    • Improve Romance writing skills (including sexual tension)
    • Deepen their creativity
    • Set achievable goals while writing Romance novels
    • Balance writing time with other professional or personal obligations
    • Build faith in fiction writing talent, and ultimately
    • Achieve publication

“Adrienne is excellent at teaching the commercial aspects of writing. I had an author come to us with a novel that was not commercially viable. I sent her to Adrienne as a writing coach. This author came back with a phenomenal re-write. The book was just recently released and is pulling excellent reviews, averaging 4.6 stars at Amazon.”
